POLAND: Kielce beat Pogon Szczecin with +14!

In the Wednesday evening Vive Kielce beat at home Gaz-System Pogoń Szczecin 41-27. The match could be called the one at the top of the Polish League as Szczecin occupied second place in the table. However, course of the match showed that guests lack too much to be able to endanger Vive for now. They arrived in Kielce without a few injured players but still claimed they would not give up the fight. First half seemed to confirm it as the game was going on the eye level; Pogoń did not let their opponent to forge ahead, also their goalkeeper Tomislav Stojković backed his team by his saves.

Only a couple of minutes before the halftime Kielce managed to gain more significant advantage. Polish champions began second half brilliantly and just crushed their rival – counterattacks, helpful Sławomir Szmal between Kielce goalposts and mistakes made by Szczecin sold the deal. Vive won by 14 goals and has become the only unbeaten team of the league. The top scorer for Kielce was Denis Buntić (9).
