Potaissa Turda win EHF Challenge Cup in front of 5.600 fans in Athens

The second match of the Challenge Cup Final between AEK Athens and Romanian Potaissa Turda 28:27 was the most crowdest (5.600) fans in OAKA (“Nikos Galis”) Arena, which is the new milestone for the Greek handball, but that wasn’t enough to prevent Romanians from winning the trophy.

The first match advantage 33:22 was simply to big to beat, but Greek team managed to take the win and gave a reason for home fans to be satisfied. Argyroo was TOP scorer for AEK with seven goals, while on the other side Asoltanei and Cintec netted five each for a huge celebration of the Romanians, who achieved the biggest success in club’s history after last year final defeat against Sporting Lisbon.
