RK PPD Zagreb win Croatian derby for SEHA Final 2019

RK PPD Zagreb will play in the second SEHA Gazprom League Final in a row. The Croatian champions showed domination in the national derby at semi-final of the Final4 event in Brest, Belarus. Team led by coach Branko Tamse outplayed RK Nexe 28:23 (14:11) at “Victoria hall”.

Last year final loser against RK Vardar in Skopje, had a lead during the whole match. They opened match with 3:0 series. Nexe came close only on 8:6 in 18th minute, but a real difference was goalkeeper’s performance. RK PPD Zagreb goalkeeper Radivoje Ristanovic (11 saves) saved some important shots to ensure his team stability in critical moments.

Damir Bicanic was TOP scorer with seven goals, while Aleks Vlah netted six in the winning squad.

On the other side Mario Buvinic scored seven goals.

RK PPD Zagreb now wait for better from clash Vardar – Meshkov.
