The two old rivals from the regional competition, RK Vardar Skopje and HC Meshkov Brest, will open the sixth SEHA GAZPROM league season on August 30. EHF Champions League competitors will play the first of their, at least, four official matches this season, as Macedonian and Belarussian champions are in the same group of the European elite competition.
SEHA GAZPROM league will be stronger in the upcoming season for two Slovenian teams – RK Celje Pivovarna Laško and RK Gorenje.
The two best Serbian teams are out for the season, afterwards Serbian Handball Federation decided to leave South Eastern Handball Association (SEHA), which co-founder was in 2010.
