Road to EHF EURO 2016 – Night of home teams

The night of home teams is the title for the first day in the Qualifications for the Men’s EHF EURO 2016 in Poland. Six from nine matches on Wednesday were ended with +5 and more goals wins for the home teams. The most convincing was Iceland against Israel 36:19, while also powerful performance has been seen by Germany (Finland 30:18) and Spain (Austria 27:16).

In the Balkan derby, Serbia beat former brothers from Montenegro 25:21 in front of 6.000 fans in “Pionir” hall in Belgrade. Norway had no problem to beat Turkey 36:27, while the most interesting match was played in Minsk, were Bosnia and Herzegovina missed the chance to take two points after lead 25:23 two minutes before the end (25:25).

Finally, the resistance of the Day showed Portugal against Hungary 30:31.

Slovenia had boring evening against Slovakia 31:25.
