One of the best defensive players in Spain in the last decade, Ruben Garabaya (34) extended contract with Naturhouse La Rioja until 2014. Former line player of F. C Barcelona (2007-2010) and Valladolid (2001-2007) came to Logrono last summer.
Garabaya also had his role in the biggest success of handball in Spain – World’s gold medal at WC 2005 in Tunisia. He also has bronze medal from the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008.
