Serbian star from RK Podravka Koprivnica, Sanja Damnjanovic (26) will be out for four to six weeks after she broke toe on the friendly match against Krim Mercator in Ljubljana. Her team-mate, Lidija Horvat accidentaly stepped on her foot and Damnjanovic went to the Hospital a few minutes before the final whistle. New injury caused a serious trouble for Podravka’s coach Neven Hrupec, who has to find solution to beat Hungarian Vaci in the next two weekends at Cup Winners Cup TOP 16 stage. Beside Damnjanović, Miranda Tatari (out for the rest of the season – knee) and Anita Gaće won’t be ready to help in the next European challenge.
