Seventh EURO gold for Norway!

Norwegian girls are again at the TOP of European handball! Since 2004 they won all European Championships with exception of Women’s EHF EURO 2012 in Belgrade, where Thorir Hergeirsson girls lost final over Montenegro! Amazing 6 of 7 in the last 12 years speaking about fantastic domination of Scandinavian girls, who once again, beat Netherlands 30:29 (15:15) in the battle for the gold, like 12 months before at World Championship 2015 Final in Danish city of Herning.

The Dutch girls had a chance to secure extra-time in sold-out Scandinavium, where 12.000 cheered mostly for Norway, but Danick Snelder threw the ball in Nicky Groot knees only four seconds before the final whistle, when all hopes for the first “Oranje” gold, dissapeared.

Nora Mork was amazing. Right back of Norwegian golden squad netted 12 goals in total and became the TOP scorer of the Championship with 53 goals in total.

France won bronze medal after 10 years by beating Denmark 25:22.
