The Kiel-based newspaper, Kieler Nachrichten, reports that following Omeyer’s departure to Montpellier in Summer 2013, the Zebras are looking to Johan Sjostrand, the Barcelona keeper, as a replacement. Should he join THW Kiel, the team will have another Swede as goalkeeper (Andreas Palicka).
Johan Sjostrand plays his second season at Barcelona, after joining the club from Flensburg, and previously spending three seasons at Skovde.
