Slovenia without Gorazd Skof at France 2017

Slovenia will be also without Gorazd Skof at World Championship 2017 in France. After Uros Zorman and injured Dean Bombac, national team coach Veselin Vujovic, decided to rest PSG Handball member Gorazd Skof, the 40-years old goalkeeper, who was one of the symbols of Slovenian roster in the last decade.

  • We have a lot of matches in France. That’s why I decided to give chance to some younger guys – said Vujovic.

For the goal-line position will fight Urban Lejsak, Matevz Skok and young Urh Kastelic.

Slovenians beat Saudi Arabia 31:18 in the last test in 2016.
