Slovenia will play at World Championship 2017 in France without two important players – Uros Zorman and Dean Bombac. The 36-years old Zorman wasn’t in plans of Veselin Vujovic for the first event in new Olympic cycle which will start on January 11 (he will be in the team for EURO Qual later in April), but Bombac had to replace him and show his class.
However, broken ribs injury was stronger than his desire to help his team-mates in national team, so 27-years old playmaker will continue his process of rehabilitation with the team – Vive Tauron Kielce.
Slovenians have also Marko Bejzak and Miha Zarabec on that position.
They will start WCh campaign against Angola on January 12 in Metz.
