Slovenia won’t join SEHA League

Board of Slovenian Handball Federation discussed all the plus and minus of joining regional project of SEHA League consisted of the Federations and teams from six countries. Slovenians decided not to join SEHA League from the next season, despite wish of Celje Pivovarna Lasko to play with the teams from Ex-Yu area and Slovakia.

– We want to save our League, which we built for the last two decades – was conclusion of this meeting.

Celje Pivovarna Lasko has “green light” to join SEHA project, but the most famous Slovenian team will have to play in Slovenian League in normal calendar.
