STEINHAUSEER: Fantastic Szmal couldn’t bring win to Kielce

Buzzer-beater of Marius Steinhauser put on silence Legionow hall in Kielce, where domestic PGE Vive Kielce didn’t celebrate win over SG Flensburg Handewitt 25:25 (10:10) which would be their second in current EHF Champions League campaign. The team led by Talant Dujshebaev had clear situation in 47th minute, when right wing Darko Djukic netted for 22:16, but that wasn’t enough against the team who had, once again, fantastic Mattias Andersson between the posts, like it was Slawomir Szmal, goalkeeper of domestic squad.

At the end, Szmal couldn’t save two shots in the last attack of the visitors. Steinhauser found the way to the net of Kielce’s goalkeeper…
