Struga to host 43rd International Handball Tournament

The beautiful place in Ohrid Lake in Macedonia, Struga, will continue with the long tradition of organising the International Handball Tournaments. This summer, the 43rd year in a row, “Women’s beach”, the open-air court in Struga will be the meeting place of many important handball teams and the players from Europe and Africa.

Last year Struga’s open-air court was small for all those who wanted (2.000 spectators) to see fantastic final between RK Vardar and RK Metalurg, while organizers expecting that will be the case also this year.

In the group A will play French Cesson Rennes, Portuguese Benfica and Egyptian champions Al Zamalek.

In the group B will meet Turkish champions Besiktas MOGAZ, domestic vice-champion RK Zomimak Strumica and Romanian Dinamo Bucurest.

Tournament will be held from August 12 till August 15.
