The Swedish coach Per Johansson will lead Montenegro at upcoming Women’s World Championship 2017 in Germany, announced Handball Federation of Montenegro!
- On the line with our aim to make the best possible team for the upcoming World Championship and make the best possible result, Management Board of Federation decided that new coach of the national team is Per Johansson.
Johansson led CSM Bucharest in the last part of the season – with qualifiyng for the WOmen’s EHF Final4 in Budapest. He also had success with Sweden by winning silver medal at Women’s EHF EURO 2010 and Olympic VISA in 2012.
Former coach Dragan Adzic, with whom on the bench Montenegro made amazing results like Olympic silver and European gold in 2012, had a message at the end:
- I don’t want and I have never put myself ahead of interest of Montenegro. I will be always ready to help my country. I wish all the best to these girls. I will be their biggest fan. We will continue where we are now in Buducnost. This generation of Buducnost has a big future.
