The draw for the V Beach Handball World Championships, which will be organized from 8 to 13 July in Al Musannah Sports City in Oman was executed today, 14 May, in the Shangri La Hotel in Muscat.The draw was conducted in presence of the 1st Vice President of the International Handball Federation Mr. Miguel Roca Mas and the IHF Beach Handball Working Group, and H.E. Abdullah al Saeedi, Minister of Legal Affairs of Oman on behalf of the Local Organizing Committee. Mirza Dzomba, a 2003 World Champion and 2004 Olympic Winner with Croatia was also participated in the draw in his role as Ambassador of the 2012 Beach Handball World Championships.
After a rather charming program, which included traditional Omani music dances as well as modern artistic performance, the draw was conducted according to regulations previously announced by the International Handball Federation.
