THW Kiel and Alfred Gislason together until 2019!

The Icelandic coach Alfred Gislason is now close to break the record of Zvonimir Serdarusic on THW Kiel’s bench (1993-2008)! The best German team announced the new deal extension with the coach who won two EHF Champions League with the “Zebras” in 2010 and 2012, and much more in the domestic Championship (six titles) and Cup (four trophies).

Gislason will stay in the city on the Baltic coast until 2019. His previous contract was expiring in 2017.

He won the first EHF CL trophy with SC Magdeburg in 2002.

Club announced that season’s budget will stay around 9.5 million EUR.
