Hero of Veszprem, Croatian goalie Mirko Alilovic had a lot of up and down moments this season. The most important thing for his team-mates, Carlos Ortega and amazing army of the fans is that he was in good mood against THW Kiel, in the best possible 60 minutes of the season. – I had very tough season, shoulder injury, come-back, not too many minutes between the posts. It was fantastic season for the team and I am very happy for my team-mates. I got a chance, I used the oportunity, and we are in the final. We started under pressure, didn’t play as we agreed, but we made fantastic second half. This amount of missed clear shots will “kill us” against Barcelona – said Alilovic and added:
– I enjoy the moment. Veszprem waits this final too long. We didn’t come here to play semi-final than to win the trophy. Barcelona is strong on all the positions. We played similiar handball with a lot of tactics. We are dreaming about the trophy, but we are on half of the way – concluded Mirko.
