The best Danish team in the history of our sports, Viborg HK will continue to exist! That was a question in the last two months since club’s officials announced deep financial crisis and seeking for sponsors immediately. Fortunately, Danish sports market and friends of the team reacted quickly and found about 700.000 EUR (5.2 million Danish crowns) which will be enough that team finish season and make less atractive plan for the future with 30% smaller budget.
Viborg HK will leave Marit Frafjord , Cleopatre Darleux , Linnea Torstensson , Anne Kjerst Suvdal and Amanda Kurtović, while Maria Fisker is at the end of the contract.
