It was specific and definitely highly emotional night in Skopje. Night which was called “the last” after Sergey Samsonenko announced departure from the club at the end of the season. It was the last chance for frenetic RK Vardar fans to see their players in “golden era” which began in 2013 with the TOP in 2017, when Macedonian champions won EHF Champions League in Cologne.
Juan Carlos Pastor’s has lost his players in Skopje’s hell in the last ten minutes. Otherwise how to explain that Pick Szeged was on 21:20 in 49th minute and lost 31:23 at the end, with small or no chance to reach Final4.
