Vote for ALKALOID FEMALE WORLD HANDBALL PLAYER 2016

The sixth year in a row, Handball-Planet.com organizes the Contest for the ALKALOID FEMALE WORLD HANDBALL PLAYER 2016! The Voting process of the traditional December competition is based on opinion of 19 handball journalists (18 countries) from all over the world. Handball-Planet.com Jury of handball Experts made the list of 32 players (four per team’s position) who will be in the race for the title of ALKALOID FEMALE WORLD HANDBALL PLAYER 2016, but also “BEST 8” OF WORLD HANDBALL 2016.

The last member of Jury are Handball-Planet.com visitors, who can support their favorites by joining the Polls until January 9. It is important to be remembered that votes of handball fans across the globe will be added to existing number of points given by the journalist’s jury.

Journalists and fans will together announce the best at the end of the voting process.

Handball-Planet.com organizes the biggest ADRIATIC FEMALE WORLD HANDBALL PLAYER 2016 Jury in the history of our Contest with the clear aim to get opinion from the different countries, handball schools and traditions. Our Jury members are famous handball specialists in their countries, which coming from the biggest media (Marca, TV 2 NO), but also from specialized websites and newspapers as Balkan-Handball.com, Handnews.fr, rushandball.ru, Rakomet 24, Time Out Magazine and so on…

LOKE, NEAGU AND TOMORI

Handball-Planet.com looking for the sixth best player on the Earth in the history of our Contest. Norwegian line-player Heidi Loke won three titles in 2011, 2012 and 2014, while in 2012 the best was Hungarian left back Zsuzsanna Tomori. The last title won Romanian “princess” Cristina Neagu in 2015.

BUDUĆNOST, VARDAR AND BUCHAREST – FRANCE AHEAD OF OTHERS

The biggest number of nominations for ALKALOID FEMALE WORLD HANDBALL PLAYER 2016 got girls from reigning EHF CL winners, CSM Bucharest – 7.  The second power in opinion of journalists’ Jury are coming from Gyor (6), than ZRK Vardar (5). Three nominations got ZRK Buducnost, two have Russian Rostov-Don and Metz Handball followed by teams who have player each in Contest – Kuban Krasnodar, Nykobing, Brest Bretagne, Esbjerg, Lada Togliati, Leipzig Handball and FTC Rail Cargo Hungaria.

In total, 32 nominees coming from 13 teams.

Situation with the national teams is a little bit different (13 in total). France has giving the biggest number of nominees (6)  followed by Norway (4) and Russia (4), then Montenegro, Netherlands, Sweden (3), Germany, Romania (2), Serbia, Croatia, Brasil, Hungary and Spain (1).
