Vranjes after defeat against Vardar: Many strange decisions of two men in black

Telekom Veszprem coach Ljubomir Vranjes wasn’t satisfied with defeat against RK Vardar 25:27 in Round 3 of the VELUX EHF Champions League. The Swedish coach wasn’t satisfied with referees on tonight’s match:

– Congrats for Vardar. I am not satisfied at all. We had possibilities to win the game. We did not have a bad game, we had seven technical mistakes. We also had a good defense. The problem was with eight suspensions. There were many strange decisions today from the two men in the black. We also have to look at ourselves. We had misses against the goalkeeper. We came to good options almost every time. I do not want to take anything away from Vardar but today I sometimes felt like someone does not want us to win today. It was not the first time. It has to stop. I think my players gave everything and fought until the last minute. It was not enough for a victory today and we cannot lose at home. We have to do it better – said Vranjes, writes official website.
