VRANJES MISSION WITHOUT TITLE: RNL win in Flensburg!

Rhein Neckar Lowen are much closer to defend the title of the DKB Bundesliga champions after win in derby in Flensburg over the biggest rivals – 23:21 (13:11). Fantastic Swiss playmaker Andy Schmid led his team towards one of the most important win of the season which put “Lions” three points ahead of the squad of Ljubomir Vranjes, who will leave German handball without most prestigious title of Bundesliga champions.

Beside Schmid, Alexander Petersson netted five goals for the winners, while on the other side,Kentin Mahe scored the same number of goals.

Three matches until the end of the Championship, but three points more for Rhein Neckar Lowen.
