Everybody thought it will be just another game of Kadetten‘s domination in Switzerland. But it proved them wrong. Wacker Thun made sure that a huge surprise happens in Switzerland. They beat the stronger Kadetten squad in the final of the Swiss Cup to win their third Cup Title in their history. After a sensational first half with Thun leading 16:9, Kadetten could only manage to lose by a smaller goal difference, but not overcome the halftime deficit, the final score standing at 29:26 for Thun.
Thun’s topscorer was Franic with 8 goals, while Kukucka was Kadetten leader with 6 goals.
