Wilbek wants two teams less in Danish League

A coach of Denmark National team, Ulrik Wilbek (52) called for reducing a number of teams in Danish Elite – Jack & Jones League. Current 14 teams has to be reduced to 12, “what will raised a quality of handball games”.

– I believe that you will get a better league with fewer teams, no I will identify who should be out. However, that is political decision – said coach who won gold medal with Denmark at EURO 2008.

Jack & Jones League has 14 teams. After 26 rounds, “best eight” play in Play-Off. It is almost a rule that first team from League never win Championship (Last season BSV Silkeborg was confident in League, but they didn’t reach Play Off Final).
