Women’s CSKA Moscow presentation: “EHF CL crown in three years”

Big day for Russian women’s handball. The country of Olympic winners got the TOP class team in capital of Moscow. CSKA Moscow will be the part of the largest Russian sport’s society – Army club. President of Russian handball Federation Siarhei Shiskarev, but also new CSKA coach, Dane Jan Leslie and team’s captain Daria Dmitrieva, presented a new handball project which will have the highest goals in very short period of time.

  • In the first season CSKA should be at the podium in Russian championship. In the second, goal will be Championship, and in the third, winning the Women’s EHF Champions League”, said Russian handball Federation president, Shishkarev.

Team’s roster will consist of Russian star, but also three foreign players, Brazilian goalkeepeer, the 41-years old Chana Masson, Swedish defensive specialist Sabine Jacobsen and Macedonian right wing Sara Ristovska.

The 48-years old Jan Leslie had experience of Russian handball as he led Rostov Don for a two and a half years.
