WORLD CHAMPION’S FIRST INTERNATIONAL STATION: Johan Hansen to TSV Hannover Burgdorf

TSV Hannover Burgdorf are successful on the playing court, but also on the transfer market at the beginning of the season 2019/2020.

The team led by Antonio Carlos Ortega is surprising leader of the German Bundesliga. Plans for the future are established in signing world Champion with Denmark, right wing Johan Hansen. 

Born on Faroe Islands, the 25-years old lefthander made tremendeous progress at BSV Bjerringbro Silkeborg and deserved calling into the national team for the World Championship 2019, when Danes won gold medal.

  • Johan is very good player. He has potential to have even bigger role in Danish national team in the future – said Antonio Carlos Ortega after signing contract ceremony. 

Hansen was a target of THW Kiel also…

He will be a successor for Timo Kastening who will join MT Melsungen.
