Who will be the successors of Slawomir Szmal (Poland) and Alison Pineau (France) as the World Handball Players of the Year 2010? For the first time ever all journalists have the opportunity to give their votes in the newly installed media section of the IHF website www.ihf.info. But also all handball fans around the world can cast their vote for one of the five nominees.
An expert jury including famous and successful coaches like Lino Cervar, Heiner Brand, Ulrik Wilbek, Jewgeni Trefilow or Marit Breivik and IHF lecturers have made their proposals for this voting – and now it’s up to the media on the one hand and the fans on the other hand to vote for their favourites. All results – experts, fans and media – will be evaluated in the end. The voting starts on 1 December 2010 and ends on 1 January 2011.

MY OPINION IS THAT CRSITINA NEAGU IS THE BEST PLAYER !
Cristina Neagu is the best…why?…all other female nominees have much more experience and are older, but Cristina, at only 22-years old, manage in most of situations to hold ter team in game, has that maturity that the others gained in years of playing handball…and that’s an enough argument…don’t you think…Good luck, Cristina!

For me, the World Handball Player of the Year (women) is of course, Cristina Neagu…no doubt.
I have voted for Cristina Neagu. Although she is very young, she proves a great maturity in the game. She helped her club team to reach the Ch. League Final this year and she also was the main player of Romania at the recent European Champs, where she was the top scorer of the competition and the player with the most decisive assists. She was also elected in the “dream team” of the Championships.

I have voted for Bojana Popovic. It was about time that she was one of those we could vote for, because she is the best player the last seven years.
Why is Lunde Haraldsen in this voting? If there should be any goalkeepers at this voting, it should be Cecilie Leganger.
