WWCH 2013: France and Germany at 1/4 finals!

France and Germany are the first quarterfinalists at the Women’s World Championship 2013. Germany had no problem against African best team – Angola 29:21 (13:10) for their sixth successive victory in Novi Sad! German head-coach Heine Jensen had no headache on today’s match as his team was in solid advantage almost during whole match.

Decisive part was the beginning of the second half when German girls made 4:1 series for 17:11. After that Angola couldn’t find the way back to the game…

France has found the way to 1/4 final on the wings of fantastic performance of Amandine Leynaud. French goalkeeper saved 7 balls in the last 15 minutes of the match with Japan 29:21 (12:10). Japanese girls didn’t score 17 minutes, while French team made 10:0 series for the clear advantage at the end…

France will play against Poland for the semi-finals.
