Celje Pivovarna Lasko lost second match in four days (In Slo League against Cimos Koper in Wednesday 24:25), but after defeat against Rhein Neckar Lowen 28:32 (12:14) in second round of EHF Champions League, coach, Zvonimir Noka Serdarusic wasn’t unhappy:
– I have to say that we started well and play like that in first half. We played quality defense in first 30 minutes, but we miss some chances in attack or Szmal saved. That was a reason for two goal difference on the break. We played solid defense in second half, had up and down. At the end, after big minus, we came to just “-4”, but then we lost concetration in attack. To beat such a strong rival, we have to have more player on same level, at least three substites, so as a coach, I am not dissapointed with a win of Rhein Neckar Lowen. They are step ahead us. To take point or two against such teams, everything has to be “tip-top”. Our chances we are looking against Kielce and Chambery. We are strongly believe that TOP 16 is attainable.
