Belarus made an important step towards Main phase at the Men’s EHF EURO 2016. Eastern Europeans managed to beat Iceland 39:38 (17:18) after amazing shooting evening in Katowice, where goalkeepers were helpless during whole match. Match could go on both sides, but Siarhei Rutenka (8) and Barys Pukhouski (11) didn’t let Icelanders to win the second match (Norway 26:25) in same way.
Alexander Petersson, who try to compensate only average performance of Aron Palmarsson (4/8) netted six goals for the Iceland.
