HEADACHE FOR KULESHOV: Russia without Vardar’s trio at EHF EURO 2014

TImur Dibirov, Mikhail Chipurin and Aleksey Rastvortsev won’t join Russian squad for the EHF EURO 2014 in Denmark. That will be the major problem for head-coach Oleg Kuleshov and his staff before the serious challenge against Poland, Serbia and France at Preliminary Group in Aarhus.

Here are the candidates for Russian squad:

Left-wing Oleg Skopintsev (Motor Zaporozhye)

Left-back: Sergei Gorbok (Rhein-Neckar Lowen) Eldar Nasyrow (Petersburg) Dmitriy Zhitnikov (Chekhov)

Playmaker: Pavel Atman (Metalurg Skopje) Inal Aflitulin (Motor Zaporozhye)  Anton Volkov (Stavropol)

Right-back: Konstantin Igropulo (Fuchse Berlin)  Sergei Shelmenko (Dinamo Minsk)  Samvel Aslanyan (Perm)

Right-wing: Dmitriy Kovalev (Chekhov) Danill Shishkarev(Chekhov)

Line player:  Egor Evdokimov (Motor Zaporozhye)  Aleksandr Pyshkin (Petersburg)  Pavel Maximov (Perm)
