HC Ohrid sign ASOBAL best defender Oriol Rey

Ohrid continues expanding its list of serious reinforcements for the upcoming season!
The best defender of the ASOBAL league, Oriol Rey Morales, is coming to the shores of Lake Ohrid after brilliant seasons with Granollers, with whom he finished this season as vice-champion behind the club he once played for — the mighty Barcelona, where he came through the youth ranks. The Spaniard, who will strengthen the defensive setup of new coach Boris Rojević, spent the last five seasons with Granollers after arriving from France, where he played for Aix and Nice.
The 31-year-old defender played for Barcelona until 2017.
“I’m excited to be part of this incredible new project. I hope we achieve all the goals that will be set,” Rey said in a message to Ohrid fans.
Just a few days ago, Ohrid announced the signing of Serbian international left back Stefan Petrić, who joins from Skopje-based Vardar.
Before him, the new member of the “Big Four” of Macedonian handball had already signed Tilen Strmljan, Ante Ivanković, Predrag Vejin, and Nikolas Liapis.
