Germany win U19 World gold for the first time!
In an extraordinary final that went into overtime and seven rounds of penalty throws, Germany became world champion for the first time at cadet level. In the end, the young Germans defeated Spain 41:40 (27:27, 31:31, 36:36) in Cairo at the final of the competition for generation 2006.
Bronze went to Denmark, who beat Sweden 33:31.
One of the highlights was the inclusion of Slovenian left back Aljuš Anžić in the All-Star Team, as he was also the top scorer of the 2025 World Championship.
