Triple Crown Completed: Norway Are World Champions!

The best women’s handball nation on the planet have once again completed the “triple crown” — European champions, Olympic champions, and now world champions!
Norway defeated Germany 23:20 in the final of the 2025 Women’s World Championship in front of 9,000 spectators in Rotterdam.
After an evenly matched first half, the champions pulled away thanks to the world’s best player, Henny Reistad, who scored five goals after the break. A huge contribution in her final match for the national team also came from Katrine Lunde, who made 14 saves.
