It was one of the unforgettable nights of women’s handball in Rotterdam, where Norway won another gold and first “treble” uniting world, European and Olympic trophy. This was also the last dance for legendary Katrine Lunde, the 45-years old Norwegian goalie who ended NT career with 21 medals.
- She’s the greatest athlete this sport has ever seen. Three Olympic gold medals, seven Champions League titles, and I don’t even know how many World Championship golds. I’m genuinely speechless. She deserves all the credit and every honour—she’s the true MVP, pure gold. There are no words. I’m so grateful I’ve had the chance to be alongside her for so many years.
