Szeged and Sporting take three- and four-goal cushions into second legs in Kielce and Plock

PICK Szeged and Sporting will head into the return legs of the EHF Champions League knockout phase with leads of three and four goals after home wins over Polish opposition.

Sporting were cruising in Lisbon and held a 10-goal advantage after 40 minutes, but the visitors managed to fight back and keep themselves alive ahead of the rematch.

In Szeged, the home side dominated behind an outstanding Roland Mikler, who made 16 saves, while Serbian international Lazar Kukic added six goals.
