Ohrid, Celje and Tatabanya Reach EHF Cup Semi-finals
Ohrid, Celje Pivovarna Laško and Tatabanya have secured their places in the semi-finals of the EHF Cup.
The Slovenian side drew 36:36 (21:17) away in Romania against Buzau and comfortably preserved the big advantage from the first leg in “Zlatorog” — 41:32.
The Romanian team led 25:19 at the start of the second half, but Celje managed to stop the hosts’ momentum, work their way back into the match and level the score at 27:27 in the 41st minute. At that point, it became clear that Celje were on their way to the last four, where they will face the winner of the Ohrid – Olympiacos tie.
