Veszprém celebrate 30th Hungarian title
One Veszprém are celebrating their 30th Hungarian championship title and their fourth in a row. Although Xavi Pascual has failed to take the team to the EHF Champions League Final4 in the last two seasons, he continues to dominate the domestic scene.
The Hungarian giants won 36:34 away against their biggest rivals, Pick Szeged, and closed the final series with a second victory after previously winning on home court.
The top scorers for the winning side were Yehia Elderaa Hesham with eight goals, Ludovic Fabregas Pechmalbec with seven and Luka Martinović with six. For the hosts, Mario Šoštarić scored six goals.
