HC Ohrid Defend Krste Andonovski Memorial Trophy After Beating Vardar in Final
The winner of the fifth Krste Andonovski Memorial Tournament in Ohrid is the host team, which successfully defended the trophy won last year in the final against Eurofarm Pelister. Boris Rojević’s team defeated Vardar 29:27 in this year’s final, delighting more than 1,500 spectators who attended the handball evening at the Biljanini Izvori Sports Hall.
After meeting last week in Struga, the two rivals faced each other again in Ohrid, this time with significantly changed line-ups. Vardar took the court with only 12 players and without several key names, including Malus, João Pedro and Lazarevski, while Ohrid rotated heavily and gave more opportunities to players who had seen less playing time in the opening phase of the tournament.
