EHF European League 2026/2027 POWER RANKING: SG Flensburg and VfL Gummersbach at the TOP

The EHF European League 2026/27 gets underway in a new format, with 32 clubs divided into eight groups. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the play-offs, where they will be joined by 12 teams dropping down from the EHF Champions League after the preliminary phase, having finished third or fourth in their respective groups.
As every year, Handball-Planet.com presents its POWER RANKING from No. 1 to No. 32, based on the initial balance of power rather than the group draw.
The biggest favourites to lift the trophy are the German teams – SG Flensburg and VfL Gummersbach.
