Bahrain won the men’s handball tournament at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya after beating Qatar 33:32 in the final.
The champions led by Robert Hedin reached the gold-medal match with a 35:31 semi-final victory over hosts Japan, while Qatar (coach Veselin Vujovic) defeated South Korea 32:30.
Japan, coached by Toni Gerona, finished the tournament on the podium after beating South Korea 37:32 in the bronze-medal match.
