Christian O’Sullivan to stay at SC Magdeburg for one more season!

Handball-Bundesliga club SC Magdeburg continues to rely on its captain and defensive leader, Christian O’Sullivan. The German champion and cup winner has agreed to extend its collaboration with the Norwegian national player for the upcoming season.
The backcourt player, who only recently returned to the SCM squad after suffering a knee injury during the last World Championship, will now enter his tenth season in the SCM jersey.
“Christian is an incredibly important player for SC Magdeburg, both on and off the field. He has won all titles with us and, as captain, has played a significant role in the sporting development of recent years. He will continue to help us achieve our goals next season, particularly with his experience in defense,” commented head coach Bennet Wiegert on the contract extension.
“Magdeburg is my home, and SCM has always been my first point of contact. I’m happy that I will continue to wear the green-red jersey next season,” said the 33-year-old Norwegian.
