Denmark celebrates U21 world title!

For the fourth time, Denmark’s youth team has conquered the world, continuing the legacy begun by their senior team back in 2019 with the first of four consecutive world titles.
The boys from Northern Europe, led by a brilliant performance from Frederik Volf with 17 saves, defeated Portugal 29:26 in the final, ending Spain’s three-year dominance of the 2004 generation, as the Spanish were eliminated before the quarterfinals this summer.
The final was officiated by Bosnian referees Amar and Dino Konjičanin.
The bronze medal went to the Faroe Islands (goalkeeping coach: Mladen Mjerimačka) after a 27:26 win over Sweden.
