Guillermo Milano to remain RK Vardar head-coach
Guillermo Milano will continue to lead RK Vardar next season, following a new agreement between the Argentinian coach and the most successful Macedonian handball club. The renewed cooperation aims to bring more success to the team.
Milano joined Vardar in November 2024 and has since recorded 18 wins, 2 draws (both away), and just 1 defeat — back in 2024. His notable victories include a win over Melsungen in Skopje in the EHF European League and a triumph over Eurofarm Pelister in Bitola.
The club is in contention for the domestic double this season. On Sunday, they won national Cup by beating the biggest rival RK Eurofarm Pelister 31:27, while in the league, they are just a step away from reclaiming the title. Vardar must first face Tikvesh away, followed by a decisive final-round home match against Eurofarm Pelister.
Milano brings over 20 years of coaching experience at both club level and with Argentina’s men’s national team.
