Barca’s Filip Jicha in new mission: I want my third title in Cologne

The hot summer transfer, the biggest story of August was Filip Jicha arrival to FC Barcelona from THW Kiel. The 33-years old Czech star spent a decade in German handball with TBV Lemgo and THW Kiel, winning all major titles, among them also the HANDBALL PLANET WORLD PLAYER 2012 award. He is officialy presented in Barcelona yesterday:

– It is a huge honour to be here and to play for this famous club. The one chapter of my career is over, 10 years in Germany, where is handball very popular, but I am really looking forward to be here, to live in Spain and work for this club. I won the CL twice and would be happy to win this title again next year in Cologne – said Jicha.
