Bundesliga (Round 7): THW trashes Neuhausen, HSV takes two points in Gummersbach

THW Kiel had their most convincing victory this season in the Bundesliga. Away in Neuhausen, the “Zebras” demolished the team of Neuhausen with a 39:20 victory. Already at half time it was 20:8 for the visitors, and the final score only confirmed their domination. Jicha led the team with seven goals, while five goals each contributed Niclas Ekberg and Christian Zeitz. The only one in Neuhausen that did something was Andreas Schroeder who was the games top scorer with eight goals.

HSV Hamburg continued the winning streak in the Bundesliga, and took two points from the always difficult ground of Gummersbach. It was until the 45th minute that Gummersbach could catch up to HSV’s lead (27:26 for HSV), and then with a 3:0 run HSV had 30:26 which was enough to keep it like that until the end of the game, and finally to win 35:31. Hans Lindberg scored huge 13 goals for the team, while Adrian Pfahl and Michal Kopco had 6 each for the home team.

Tomorrow Wetzlar hosts Flensburg, while Fuechse Berlin should have an easy job at home against Balingen. Both game start at 17:30.
