Norway showed domination against direct rival in the battle for the second place in Group B – Brazil 39:26 (18:13). Norwegians celebrated third win in fourth match to almost secure spot behind France, who will have chance to win the first place by beating Russia tonight at 20.45.
Brazilians were in balance in the first 20 minutes (12:11), when Scandinavian team began to make stronger impact on the court. Until half time was 18:13 with a few goals of the TOP scorer Sanders Sagosen (7). The second half was just a question of routine. Berg’s boys broke resistance of the rival quickly to ensure no-stress finish of the match in which both coaches could give chance to all the players.
Bergerud has another good 60 minutes with 13 saves for Norway, while Chiuffa (6) was Brazilian TOP scorer.
