Women’s EHF CL: ZRK Vardar defeated in Metz for the first time in this season

Six teams are already qualified for the Women’s EHF Champions League quarter-finals. Round 8 will be closed with derby match between Gyori Audi ETO KC and CSM Bucharest, the two last EHF CL winners, who will decide about TOP of Group 1.

The French team Metz Handball beat RK Vardar Skopje 24:22 (10:10). That is the first defeat for Macedonian champions in the current season.

Grace Zaadi was TOP scorer in the winning team with eight goals, while Marina Rajcic had 19 saves.
