Germany are close to the first semi-final after World Championship 2007 at home! Christian Dissinger led his team with seven goals, same as Timur Dibirov among Russians.
The clash which will be decisive, will be played against Denmark, who beat Spain 27:23 (12:14) after spectacular defensive performance in the second half. Hero of the night was Niklas Landin (17 saves) who showed his TOP class in encounter with one of the greatest of all time, Arpad Šterbik.
It is now clear that only three teams have chances to play at semi-finals. Denmark, Russia and Spain.
