Danish wall too strong for Spaniards – Germany beat Russia!

Germany are close to the first semi-final after World Championship 2007 at home! Dagur Sigurdsson guys beat Russia 30:29 (17:16) in tight match to secure place among two best teams in Main Group II, but two match before the end. Christian Dissinger led his team with seven goals, same as Timur Dibirov among Russians.

STATISTICS

The clash which will be decisive, will be played against Denmark, who beat Spain 27:23 (12:14) after spectacular defensive performance in the second half. Hero of the night was Niklas Landin (17 saves) who showed his TOP class in encounter with one of the greatest of all time, Arpad Å terbik.

It is now clear that only three teams have chances to play at semi-finals. Denmark, Russia and Spain.
